Why do you guys bag on timeshare so much as if they are a bad thing. I love mine and continue to buy more weeks for my kids. Isn’t it that most people don’t know how to use them. And all of these people squawking about increased in dues. One of my resorts has not gone up in 5 years. What is their issue?????
JB
John, Thank you for posting your opinion. As you’ve probably figured out, our service is for people who don’t enjoy their timeshares and don’t use them, and are stuck in a contract paying maintenance fees forever. You can own the nicest timeshare in the world, but if you don’t (or can’t) use it, then all you own is the obligation to pay the maintenance fees into perpetuity.
Also, I couldn’t help but notice your IP address identifies you as working for Pacific Monarch Timeshare Resort. Since you’re involved in the timeshare industry, I would be shocked if you’d ever say anything negative about timesharing since your livelihood depends on people buying into a timeshare contract.
Thanks, Kate.
Hi Pete, That’s a great question. We have a 100% guaranteed method to get you out of your timeshare. First of all we need to ask a few questions. What timeshare do you have? Where is it located? Is it a fixed or floating week or do you own points? Are you the only one on the deed? Has there been a death or divorce or is it in a trust? Have you ever tried to list it?
By the way, I see that you have the exact same IP address as the previous commenter, John Burnam. Do you know him? He likes his timeshare apparently, but we’d be happy to help you out of yours if you’re unhappy. Please call at 800-588-1582 to speak to one of our program experts. Thanks, Kate.
Do you “relieve” us of our timeshare if we pay you several thousand dollars and you give us nothing but membership in a travel club (that we pay for) and we get our money back in increments of $3,— yearly in capital losses from Uncle Sam?
Well, we did just that with TimeNoMore. I came home and went to bed only to awake at 4 in the morning in a cold sweat. How on earth did I allow someone to talk me into giving them thousands of dollars in deeded property and they pay nothing. Not only that, I paid almost $3,500 to them in addition to sucker me. I hope you improve on the above spill and tell folks up front when you start. “I am going to give you nothing but knowledge and you will give me your property and pay me thousands of dollars in addition. I dare say you would have anyone to listen to you. That would be the honest thing to do.
I would like to talk with someone and have sent in a contact request to your website. I hope you can help us. Do you help people who still owe balances on their timeshare ownerships?
While we cannot help people with outstanding mortgages, we can recommend getting an attorney to help. If you’d like to call me at 800-588-1582 I’ll give you the name and number of an attorney we recommend because he is familiar with timeshare contracts and really cares about helping people. Thank you, Kate.
There are a number of companies out there who do what we do. Time No More is one of them, and they do a great job. As you have figured out, our customers are those people who don’t want, can’t use, and are unable to get out of their timeshare contracts. If you use your timeshare and take advantage of it in a way that’s beneficial to you, that’s wonderful. However, if you’re like many of the people who work with a company like Timeshare Relief, you’ve had enough, and want to stop throwing good money after bad. You’re always welcome to call 800-588-1582 or to browse around our website for more information about us. If you’re trying to sell your timeshare, please just be cautious about paying upfront “listing” or “appraisal” fees.
Thank you for contacting us, and best wishes. Kate.
I just found this blog as I was researching information for some friends who want to get rid of their time share.
A few years ago my wife and I also had the same desire and we went to one of the meetings in our area for Time No More. Yes, we had to pay some kind of fee — I don’t exactly remember what it was for, some kind of vacation program or something. But I didn’t and don’t care. Time No More “bought” our timeshares, we felt and still feel a great relief from being out from under those ever-increasing annual maintenance fees and the hassle of trying to schedule use of our timeshares.
I have no connection with any company pro- or anti- time share and this message is 100% unsolicited! I just want people to know that you can get out of your timeshares, and yes, technically you seem to be “losing” money, but in the long run not really, because otherwise you, AND YOUR HEIRS, will be stuck with them unto eternity.
I am going to forward this website to our friends and recommend that they consider allowing Time No More to take care of their time share.
I realize you are in it to make money — of course! But it also is a great service to us who want/wanted to get rid of our timeshares.
Thank you so much for your comment. I’m glad to hear you found a way out of your timeshare. That’s why we’re here. We rescue people from timeshare’s perpetuity contracts, and give them the escape route they’ve been frantically searching for.
Naturally, timeshare sales people don’t like what we do, but we consider that a job well-done because we’ve helped people to improve their lives financially.
If you’d like to give our phone number 800 588-1582 to your friends, we’d be happy to have a program expert go over the details of our service and how we can help them get timeshare relief.
I just gave my time share to Time Share Relief. I do not regret it. For 8 years all I did was pay maintenance fees, taxes and assessments. In addition, I was only able to get an exchange 2 times and I had to fight and call everyone in the books in order to do that. I could never get a week anywhere. I even called for my own week and they told me that I needed to pay the maintenance fees and I had not even received the bill yet. She told me to wait for the bill, pay the fees and then call back to see if I could get a reservation. I paid 3 companies to have it listed and they did not even called me back – $1500 gone. I tried listing with Ebay and they also charge a fee for listing and if you check there are hundreds of TS for sale. They are even giving them away and they are still there. Donations? No one want that type of donation. So yes I was one of those fools who paid to get the TS off my hands. Thank you.
You’d have to check on the contract to see if there’s a cancellation period that you’re still in to cancel that listing fee. Or, if you paid by credit card, try contacting your credit card company, and see if they’ll allow you to file a complaint and withdraw the charge.
Thank you so much for visiting our forums and leaving us a comment. We’re so happy we are able to help people, just like you, to escape the timeshare trap. It’s what we do best.
We can promise that we work hard to get you timeshare relief, and we can assure you, being free of that timeshare and all the financial and emotional hassles that come with it will be better than you imagined.
Our customer service number is 800-399-7958 in case you ever have any questions.
Thanks again,
Kate.
I have two timeshares with Shell Vacations Club one which is paid for and I have no problem with that. I was conned into purchasing into their San Francisco resort about two years ago and have paid them faithfully to the tune of $11k and still owe $23k and recently retired. Since I now have a fixed income, it is no longer possible to pay them and so I need to get out of the last contract by either giving it back to them or something because I am making no further payments on that account. Can’t do it, have had health problems and there is just no money left.
I don’t know if you have tried contacting SVC and explaining your situation to them. Perhaps they would rather take it back and try to sell it again instead of just losing hte rest of the mortgage you owe. I would say don’t just stop paying because we have seen people who don’t pay on their timeshares have their credit ruined by timeshare companies and it would be awful to have that happen to you. Our advice would be to speak to a lawyer to see what your options are legally for getting out of those timeshares.
Best wishes to you.
Hello purchased a timeshare little less than a year ago, and am having buyers remorse knowing I paid too much for my time share. We still owe a bit for the timeshare and the company does not have a buy back program. We paid approx 11,000 for the share and now owe about 10000. What direction can I go? Can I get off the deed without paying the balance will it reflect upon my credit or my wife’s? Thank you for your input.
